Macetown road is blocked by slips at moment. Rang lakes council today and they said they are starting to clear it tomorrow. So should be clear in a week or so. (As long as there aren't any more.) Was looking at doing a trip in the weekend of the 17th-18th of august with 3 - 5 vehicles. If it goes ahead will let ya know, if you want to tag along.

This is from the Council bloke that looks after that side of things..

Hi Keri,

Yes we’ve had a couple of decent slips recently.
These should be cleared within the next week all going well.
Feel free to give me a call later in the week, perhaps Friday afternoon, for an update once I’ve had a chance to inspect.

Glad to hear it's being looked after now :-)

I lived in Wanaka/Queenstown for 3 years driving that running my own business so if your cruising around and get tooted that might be why...

Dave loves his Mickey Ts. Great tread depth when new, slightly softer than some tyres so will wear relatively quick on road. Dave has a half worn set in storage if anyone keen. 33s but 17 inch rim size.
