Body lift or bigger shackles?

Post by slighty »

Hi guys i got a 95 solid front end 2.8 double cab hilux.

Its got a 2inch suspension lift via the springs and am looking at putting 33's on it. 32's rub when its flexing with the 2inch suspension lift. Any recommendations on weather to put a 2inch body lift in or a 2inch shackle lift. Being 4inchs allround it shouldnt rub with 33's should it?

Cheers

Sure there 2" lift springs? Mines only lifted 2" clears 33" tahs fine, does have front axle pushed forward 30mm though.

Extended shackles only give you half the height that you extend them by.

E.g. 2" longer shackles give 1" ride height increase. Close enough...

Maybe push front axle forward 30mm, you can get those relocating plates resonably priced.
