KZJ71 Diffs

Post by GlenW264 »

Hello All
I have a 1993 KZJ71 Prado sx and in the process of ordering diff locks but have been asked what diffs are in my truck. My research shows 8inch 10 bolt full floating in the front and a 8inch 12 bolt full floating 50mm bearing in the rear. is this correct?? any help would be great thanks

Hi Glen,
Have you seen http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=33713
or
http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32833&p=355958#p355958

Also a bit surprised your info is that the front is 10 bolt and rear is 12 bolt, because as far as i know the ARB RD132 fits the 8" high pinion and the 8" V6 and the 8" 4 cyl diffs.

Cheers
Tim

RD132 does fit both. The centres are identical.
