Well more work done on the truck.
It has the big box in it now so now I can really get up with out having to worry about the box exploding.
I have rebuilt the 12mm pump and ported the lift pump to allow greater flow out of it. I'm really looking forward to getting this big engine in there and throwing sand around on the beach.

Hey mate. Its the same over here they are after you to tax you as much as they can. But as long as you are sensible they will leave you alone. Since I put the big rubber guards on my truck they have left me alone.

I had a search of TD Power's shed and found only 1 TD27t rod. But I was able to compare them to a TD41 con rod. Big end the same size and the pin diameter was the same with the same overall lenght, only more casting on the main shank. I would go for a full set of those as would be easier to source. I do have the one rod here if you want me to send? Couldn't find any cams though :(

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

I know Its been quiet on here regarding my build as I have been busy doing other stuff and I didnt want to start my bd30 big time until I had sold the qd32. well thats been sold and so its on to the bd30 except ::
I was on gum tree and saw a qd32 turbo on sale. blown engine but aftermarket turbo kit.
it was only 400 and so I picked it up, I actually think its only a head gasket thats blown but i have sold the engine anyway.

Im going to run this on my td27 until the bd30 is finished and then put that in the truck. The engine came with a great fan as well and qd32 fans in good condition are hard to come by so that was a bonus as well

Some more of the turbo off the engine its actually the easiest manifold to work on you can get to all but two of the bolts with a socket

Hello
I' m from Portugal and have a k260 With a bd30 engine, MY td27 that came With MY patrol break and i put a cabstar on it.
I've been cheking a qd32 and wondered what could be best keeping this bd30 that is a bit limited or switch to a qd32. I don't know this engine and wanted to ask you what is your opinion regarding both.
Should i invest. in bd30 or switch to a qd32efi switching fuel pump and i dont know if MY gearbox(td27) fitas the qd32 engine like bd30 in this case was easy just tale One out. and put the other in.
Thanks
