Welded a bit more on the playdoh... Grabbed a tent and sleeping roll at FCO sales ready for Guavas.... Contemplated my future at current employer.

Spent this weekend fixing the damage done by a loose crank bolt thanks to the last person who changed the cambelt. Had to bore out the inside of the pulley and sleeve it, also fitted a new crank seal but it's still leaking! Managed to get my new wheels on last weekend.

spent all weekend trying to convince the wife that going back to live in the uk is a really bad idea, it must be a mid life thing combined with the birth of her first granchild and being what might as well be a million miles away.. i dont really know where this will end up at the moment, got a feeling i wont like the outcome but she is going back for a visit and hopefully will get it out of her system. (think i kind of choose to ignore the warning signs on reflection)..anyway looks like i have sold the boat to pay for the trip so i can keep the safari at present...
on a positive note i got the new clutch and engine back in and loads of other bits fitted. kind of a gloomy weekend for me really :(

Well my weekend doesn't finish until next weekend... Ahh the joys of annual leave.

So I got to fitting the rear bar on the safari today so that just leaves the exhaust to get changed over and the rest of the bar work to be modified to fit through out the week.

I'm going to be selling my road tyres and rims so I can get some 33s for my main set of rims.

31x10.5 Kumho KL71's on 15x8s alloys.
Even wear on all probably only 5-7mm ( Im still to measure)

Looking at offers at this stage will post up in the for sale bit once I have taken them off.

Went climbing up the Avoka. Managed to drive right up to about 1/2 k from Avoka hut, that saved 6km of walking from where I thought we'd have to stop.

Haha no, the winch rope somehow ended up around it. Winched out of a hole, stored the extra rope on the winch horns and went to drive off, snapped the winch rope and did that to the drive shaft

Anyone got a Toyota BJ74 drive shaft? Need a new one as a spare now.
