Mine are out of a evo 2-3. I spoke to kelvin at car tune company before I got them and he recommended about the 400-550cc range. Mine are 510cc
They worked in a 2litre turbo so sort of assumed theyed be ok in a 4 litre with 8 of 'em. Time will tell I guess. Yours will probably be running before mine is though.

This thing is going to be a monster! Awesome work bro.

Did you talk to a cert guy before doing the 8mm plate chassis stiffener? (I assume you will use Neal Miller?) You may run into trouble with regard to modifying the crush zone (or something like that). I might be barking up the wrong tree though.

You are right. I'm doing one in the same body as you have. It doesn't fit.

Cheers bro. Yep plan on using Neal miller, have spoke to him about a few things, but not that.never considered full chassis' s haveing crush zones. But the plan is to exo it aswell, so that would affect crush zones also would it not?

Maybe. He told me that my exo was not a cert issue so long as it didn't affect pedestrians (ie keep it close as to the body so it won't trap limbs, no sharp stuff etc etc). I guess if you were to run front bush bars connected to the cage then maybe that affects it? Also it bolted to the chassis, so no cert for the welds.

When I coiled my leaf hilux I welded a gusset in the chassis between the two leaf mounts as the chassis was only 80mm tall there (roughly) and I thought it wasn't up to the job of supporting the coils and the hard time I planned to give it. Also it had my bump stop mounted on this gusset. Neal made me chop a piece of the gusset out, and then he called it a "bump mount" rather than a "gusset"

I would guess he won't be stoked about your 8mm plate. But talk to him, he is a reasonable guy and he may be able to come up with a solution that keeps you both happyish. It may be different for you seeing as you are going from IFS to coil. I don't know.

Good luck.
