What effect does rim size have on the profile of a tyre?

Just curious if a wider rim changes the tire height/width much, if at all? For example a 33x12.5R15 tyre on 15x8s as opposed to on 15x10 inch rims.

Will not change tyre height although going to a wider rim may allow the very outer edge of the tyre to get more contact with the road surface. Narrower rims generally pull the edge up and away from the surface more. Wider rims tend to allow the bead to be pushed off the rim shoulder easier when the tyre pressures have been dropped

I have used 7 inch rims with 33x12.5x15's. Bit wobbly on road. Off road beads stayed on fine.
Moved to 8 inch rims... On road much better feel. Off road just fine also.
Mate used 10 inch rims... same tyres. On road fine... like a race car lol.
But off road he kept rolling the tyres off the bead...
