sj 413 help

Hi guys so iv got a little Sammy sj413 had it for 5 months now and hasn't missed a beat but today I went for a drive and theres a very noticeable whine coming from some where its doing it in all gears and in hi 2 hi 4 and low 4 it only goes away when I back off the gas. any idea what this would be and what would fix it

rear diff maybe? check all oils...

certainly sounds like rear diff

Yeah id just open the fill hole and jam your finger in the rear diff to see if theres any metal in the oil. I had a sammy gearbox do a similar thing too so may as well check that the same way while your at it.
