I have an option on a complete TD42 turbo'd eng.. factory.
my question is; the standard td42 does it run the same fly wheel / pistons etc as the Turbo TD42?
will a turbo'd td42 eng that was coupled to a auto trans fit straight in my manual, non turbo'd set up?
in a nutshell, the Turbo'd eng is an unknown quantity.. an my TD42 runs fine.. can I unbolt the factory turbo parts and bolt straight on or are there other bits I need to take? does a factiory Turbo'd eng have diff internals that would make me want to take the whole turbo'd TD42?
hope this makes sense..
any help would be gold
thanks Paul

What motor do you have? If its a silver top then for best bang for buck IMHO your better off spending the money on a turbo kit for your existing motor. My shorty with a td05 was faster than mates factory turbo truck. And that was with very much same setup.
