Safari amp?

hey lads yet another safari radio thing :roll: I have got my headunit hooked up with a converter all well and good but i have wacked a amp in there as well obviously i put that up to the bat and the switch off the headunit (REM) works sweet sounds are awesome but went to leave work today and it had drained my bat :evil: didn't have anything on during the day everything was off but didn't have enuf juice to start the truck anyone else had any troubles?

You need another reducer 24v-12 v and run amp off that not the the main batteries
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

or just stick a relay in line to shut of the power operated by switched ignition.?

yea seems strange the acc already turns the amp off so how is it still drawing power

it will be draining one battery, your system will charge untill one is full meaning the one with the amp slowly goes flat.
