Looking for a complete G6 2.6 engine if anyone knows where to find one for my worker, head has gone and very marginal to straighten and plane(bit soft)

theres new heads on trademe for $400 and something, although theyr a bare head

im after a usable bottom end to rebuild for mine..so i can rebuild it and put my head on it, then rebuild the block thats in my truck now,and sell that..

my motor still runs good, it just has a noisey lifter,it gets annoying at times

Moonlighted at a wreckers yard 10 years ago. G6's were always hard to find, expensive, and sold like hot cakes. Not sure if that's changed.

dont see many come up for sale very often,and theyr usually atleast $900 in as is condition...

if mine blew id most likely fit a bpt familia 1800 turbo in there with a mx5 bellhousing...done
