93 Nissan Terrano (now wellside ute) with a fair few mods. (internal cage coilovers, turboed VH45 etc)
1780kg with full tank of gas (100l), spare tyre, winch etc sitting on 33's but with no passengers.
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

Should add the funny frame on the back of the truck is actually a water blaster!

holy cow you have done some work on that. have you got a build tread anywhere ? the coil overs at the rear what is idea of mounting them to the suspension links. is it for geometry ? or more travel for less spring.

I haven't done a build thread yet as been too busy building it but should get something together now.
Putting the c/o on the rear TA is done for a few reasons.
It puts the springs outside the chassis rails so means for a given spring rate at the wheel the actual spring rate is lower. Means a lighter spring resists body roll more. The TA are about 100mm from the tyres and no way of doing that if the shocks were mounted to the axle.
Also for a given amount of travel the sock piston speed is lower so easier to valve.
Oh yeah it also means I have 29" of rear travel without the limiting straps but at Taupo it was limited to about 20". (Started at 24" but took a bit more out for safety)
