anyone used a vrs winch

Found a good buy? Had some good service? Found a dodgy product or had dodgy work done. Let us all know. We all want to know about the good buys and warn us before throwing our money away on useless crap!

am looking at getting one of these http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =642253646 cant really justify spending 900 on a runva has anyone used or seen how they go

I'm sure you will justify spending the extra $ on a winch when your balls deep somewhere by yourself with a burnt out winch.
-but in saying that I have not heard how the vrs go so might fit your application

yea ive heard nothing about them eather dont no weather thats good or bad was just trying to find out if someone had used one otherwise ill just get the runva, have got a hand winch for back up all the time

??? the equivalent runva from www.winch.co.nz would back around $700 mark, well worth it as you will get good after sale service and parts too.

funny this come up i brought one of these years ago when i was just useing my truck for hunting it has been to hell and back now ute is a pretty tough and done alot of 4x4 tracks and it is still going strong i thought it would have blown by now i just cant seem to kill it and ive tryed to so i had a excuse to get a runva but the basted just wont die :)

haha i was looking at the competition runva 1s didnt see the $700 1s so def be going runva now cheers ant

all good. Have a chat to mike, i've bought a few off him, delivery can take a few weeks but he knows what he's talking bout and a good one to have a yarn to if you not quite sure what winch will suit you. He even lent me one while i made up some bar work for a couple weeks to make sure it would work.

yea just brought a bar of him and a 11xp winch should do the trick good to deal with
