Cant log in?

Post by Zukin »

Hi Mike, I cant seem to log in to the site using my user ID and password, so I thought maybe I am using the wrong password, so I requested a confirmation code and it cam thru Ok.

Then replied and got a new password, typed in the new password, but it keeps stopping me getting in

Any ideas

Hi Zukin,

Does it actually say bad passwd? or does it look like it worked but then you are not actually logged in. If its the later one and you are using IE 6 then try this.

1. Start Internet Explorer
2. Go to http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz
3. Go TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS
4. Click the PRIVACY tab
5. Click the EDIT button down the bottom
6. Type ath.cx in the ADDRESS OF WEB SITE bar
7. Click ALLOW
8. Click OK
9. Click OK again
10. Log in

failing that try enabling cookies if they are not enabled.
what web browser are you using? you can find out by going help->about in your web browser.

If its a bad passwd thing I can change it manually for you. Also if its a bad passwd problem sometimes this gets me alot, the capslock key is not on. but from you message I think this ain't the problem.

hope this helps.

Work computers should be featured back to increase security. So I would imagine the cookies to be disabled in the web browser. Cookies allows the web browser to tell the website who it is. And so if these are not enabled then the website does not know who the computer is requesting the information.

Chances are you work computer will have the latest internet explorer which is 6. so try that and see if that fixes it. Or browse through all your internet options looking for anything to do with cookies and enable it. :D
