What's the best lift-kit?

Post by non-target »

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a 2" lift-kit put in my 2005 Hilux SR5. I have two offers on the table, and I'm wondering what's best. They are:
- Old Man Emu kit
- All Terrain kit
Both are exactly the same price, but from different suppliers. Apparently the All Terrain kit will give me an extra 50mm front wheel drop. Is this important? What's the best quality? Any advice warmly received!

Which shape is your Hilux as 2005 was the change over year.

Is it the "Bugger" model or the "Sheep Shagger" model?

Highly technical terms right there

It's the 'sheep shagger' model. Built too low for what I need her for...

Extra 50mm wheel drop may cause issues with C.V.'s as they can only handle so much angle. And OME is a tried and tested brand, you get what you pay for.
