Night Run

Post by jimny-jeep »

Was a good night, however, very disappointed in some peoples attitudes and behaviour. We were abused by a person who wanted to leave NOW! but had to wait whilst we were looking for a lost one.
This person abused and even man handled one of us, who was alone at the gate at the time. We will now have to have more than one person at the gate and up top for protection. Are we living in a third world country, or do we have such selfish people among us that our society can't operate with decency?
As for the lost one, another show of selfishness. Instead of this chap's group taking him back to the HQ after he broke something, they chose to verbally direct him. He got lost on the second turn. That decision cost many people a lot of time and fuel trying to find him. Many thanks to the gentleman who did. I wonder if they will offer some compensation?
How hard is it to do the right thing? I wonder if anyone will have the guts and manners to apologise?
We'll see on the next one.

Shit thats no godd. Someone spouting a bit of verbal diarreah isn't the end of the world but to physically have a go at someone is taking things way to far, name and shame I reckon.

If the incident happened at the gate how come the person manning the gate didn't let him out at the time?
Surely it would have been better to just send him on his way that aggravate situation further?

The issue we had, the guy with the key was letting a tow vehicle and trailer in and out the bottom gate to retrieve a broken truck. A little bit of patience was all that was needed. If you were so put out by the wait time, my apologies to you........and it won't happen again.
Physical pushing and shoving is totally unacceptable anywhere, anytime!
All and all, thanks everyone for your support.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
