I wouldn't do it with less than 3 trucks because it would be easy to break something in there unless it has been improved greatly.

What grading would it have if 2 trucks can easily drive it.

Something like 2 ?

theres a video on you tube with how the track looks now, its in very good shape apart from the bottom creek and the big long wheel rutted slide to the bottom. still a track that will eat you up if youre un prepared tho.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dnqr4QjnfY

ill be heading in there after the gates open to take the truck around for sure!!

The days of it taking 24 hours should be over as NZFWDA did a massive upgrade on the track last summer, but still be prepared for a changeable track. The hill section in the middle has not been touched so will still be a challenge if you go clockwise.

i would sugest that seeing as how they havent done it before, they dont want it to kill all their winches that they should go clockwise (same as the dude on the bike) going down the long slide is much easier but still good fun and shouldnt kill winches.

be cool, tread lightly and have a heap of fun.

if you need a recovery im sure we can find someone to help out

If you do it clockwise. The secret of the big uphill is not to lose momentum and then you can drive most of it without too much winching. So each truck needs to keep a good distance so you don't have to stop otherwise it is hard to get going again.

Yeh we back got out that day a got a little panel damage and my mate truck got a slight leak in the fuel tank but not a to bad was a bit of a challange because our trucks are not trailered trucks a abit o winching and towing because of the mud but other than that it was good a guy started to help us toward the end to get us out
