1990 surf ifs

If anyone has a ifs surf can they please post a photo of the front steering arm mine is rubbing on chassis and i cant see why

Is the idler arm on the passengers side rubbing?
The shaft bends over time with lifted trucks and especially with larger tyres off road.
Replace it. And drive quieter off road (If ya can :-)

No its rubbing on the pitman arm side where the drag bar attaches to the arm going to the wheel

If your pitman arm is hitting the chassis, then the pitman arm is bent is bent. You will need to replace it.

We make idler arm braces for 300inc gst to stop them from bending !
