Hilux rear driveshaft

Post by Steve_t647 »

Hi guys I have an odd one.

the centre bearing is failing on my hilux too quick, I have a judder in the driveline on take off but it goes away at road speed. :?

What I found was when I swapped the driveshaft with my parents the problem moved (and I had to swap it back), when I swaped it back the two shaft's were 90 deg out (one was turned 90 deg) I changed this and the problem went for a bit but now it is back. :(

Could either be an unbalanced driveshaft (from hitting rocks etc) or the universal joints at either end could be buggered

If your back springs are too flat the D/S is too straight which will contribute to early C/B failure
