Went to the Manukau Winch challenge, drove and winched all the tracks. 1 DNF (but we completed the track to find out we went over time). Came 7th in class out of 9 (modified). Had a late night Friday (sat 2am) after the night stages assisting monstr getting parts for his truck after it decided to destroy a steering box. Had a ball.....

Nope... the replacement from (thanks heaps) you blew apart halfway thru stage 10. But he did clip the bridge. Tony has your forks and we will get them to you ASAP or via monstr...

Just got back from 3days at Possum Palace pegging and bunting the last of the tracks for the Superwinch 24hr Teams Challenge (next weekend). I think weve put in nearly 3km of bunting.
Its dried out alot over the past 4/6 weeks especially the access ways but its still nice and boggy in parts of the tracks so be prepared for a bit of everything.

Ill be contacting all the entered teams on Thursday morning with the final need to know details.

Cheers

Went and watched Manukau on Saturday. Looked to be well run and some cool stages.
Then today I put the inlet and exhaust manifolds back on my jeep after having replaced a stud that had broken off a few mm inside the block. I drilled a 6.5mm hole in an 8mm bolt. Chopped it off so the head only just cleared the block, then plug welded it to the stud and wound it out. Worked beautifully. Also made a new battery mount as the original plastic one would no longer pass a WOF.
Manukau provided more motovation for my build. Should get the cab back on this week (been saying that for two weeks already)

Also just got home from the Palace, havnt seen the team leave in so much pain and so tired before

Thanks all for the help, was a huge achievement.

Really looking forward to the comp now, only a few days and we will be back up there to setup

We still have a couple of spots left but are filling fast.

Ps Manukau looked awesome, gutted we couldnt get along to it.

Cheers
