Some of you may be aware that earlier this year I got hold of a Series 3 109. I had big plans, adding another Landy to the stable, but unfortunately the city life, another blown diff on my Disco ($$$), and lack of a garage space basically, has meant that I'm considering parting ways with the truck I've affectionately called, 'Annie'.
Here's a few images of my adventures with her so far attached.
She's sitting on 265/75/r15 KL71s on Disco rims. I don't have the series rims/tires anymore I'm afraid.
I've removed the roof and the rear cage- but still have both.
She was running roughly. I thought it was timing so I messed with with that but. Currently she's not timed right, but I've replaced pretty much all the electrics in the ignition system. I've also got a NOS Zenith carb sitting there I was going to put in. In hindsight, I think the new carb will solve the roughness, rather than my timing speculations.
In addition, I've got a spare gearbox, a Holden 202 engine complete with LR adapters ready to bolt in in needed. I've got spare panels, Spare hubs, diffs, fuel tank, dizzys, fuel lifters...So many spares it's ridiculous!
So, I'm not desperate to sell. Just putting it out there in case someone is tempted and can give her a more fitting home. I'm probably after around $2500. Hasn't had a WOF since 2001, but is still on a live 'B' Rego. Chassis is half repainted already. Surface rust underneath, but no serious holes or anything...I think it just needs a scrub and paint.
Failing selling her, I'm also open to suggestions of where to store her....It's just not working out having an old truck in my carport. The neighbours are seriously beginning to hate me
. I think it might also help my bank balance just focussing on my existing Discovery, which I have a habit of breaking expensive bits on regularly!So, accepting expressions of interest really...
