Terrano tappet cover gasket.

Post by kiwipete »

I got a big trip coming up on Monday (Southern Safari), and I have noticed the tappet cover gasket appears to be leaking quite badly nearest the firewall. I have tweaked the bolts a tad but this hasn't helped.

I will now replace the gasket, but where would you recommend I get one from here in Christchurch?
Ripco quoted me $65.00

After your thoughts gents

NB; yes I have a QD 32 but the tappet cover and block is the same as the TD27.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Dude...automotive urethane...normally used for gluing windscreens in.

makes good intake manifold gaskets too.
