4wd mitsi pajero indicator

Post by jiggy »

Need help from the experts!!! my pajero is 1993 v6 3000c petrol. wot happen is, i sent it to have my auto transmission service done. when i came back home, i realize that the 4wd indicator (between the RPM meter / speed meter are)- showing the 4 tyres arent light on properly. when i use 2WD, the one on the right hand side at the back wouldnt light on whilst the left one is on. when i put on 4wd, both front tyres light on. i do not feel any different from normal... is it just something electrical or something that i need to be worried about???? any idea where to look for it?

Hi

Was it indicating correctly before the trans was serviced?
If so take it back, they have connected the wires incorrectly.
The indicators to my knowledge are only that, 4WD is all mechanical

Sounds like it can only be a bulb as matwelli suggested. Common to blow and easy to replace.

If you put it in 4WD and not notice anything different from normal - that is normal as it is designed to run as full time 4WD.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)
