Steering box for Cruiser

Post by Disco Gofer »

Guys. I have 40 series running a 350 Chevy and a Chev Implala power steering box.........well the box is leaking like a stabbed pig. $375 plus GST to repair/ rebuild is just too much for me to justify on a bush truck so am looking for a used box if some one has real cheap one please. I don't have the right gear to cut off the already custom mounts and try make a new mount to suite a different pump so the same would be great if possible. But if you have a 60/70 then I will wash a buddy's car for a month to get him to glue some more mounts to make it fit.
Please dig through ur crap in the garage, out house shed and boot................help a fellow Kiwi from Africa out!!!!!

I love getting dirty and now this is going to stop from doing just that. AND my club has its Xmas weekend party at the end of the month so wanna go play and show off.............................

after your bleeding heart appeal you had better say where about you are....

oh a 70 s/box has a rear facing pitman arm and a 60 s/box has a forward facing pitman arm

so what bow will best suit your needs

oh i also have both but you may find somebody else as well will have a unit too
