Fuckwits. he would have been better off using a extension cable up onto terra firma infront of him and a land anchor.

camp the night there go over whilst the tide is turning and bury a dead mans anchor for the winch then go at it at the next low tide,

Why not just secure the mobile winching vehicle to the said tree and then winch his stuck buddy onto the hard.

And whats this about not having any brakes due to a busted brake line. Mind you its easy to fix now

wonder if they ever thought of getting rid of some the extra weight in the hilux? would have made things way easier when snatching.

Unfortunately, the driver in the rolled vehicle smashed his head on the window and suffered serious damage. It took two hours for help to arrive and he put up a good fight, but sadly he didn't make it and died on the way to the hospital.

This is what happened next according to some research I did

Just goes to show how the simplest recovery can go wrong.
I too was thinking why not get rid of some of the weight in the stuck vehicle.

Id love to know your sources? Way too soft of a flop to cause any major injury, if it did I don't think they'd be broadcasting it?

Doesn't look that way in this video showing him climb out the window cracking a joke saying 'all for adventure my ass'.

Unless he rolls it twice...

Why on earth would sponsors let promotional videos be made and posted 4 days ago if the guy died?

Did you guys miss this post??

There's a part in the clip showing him climbing out of the truck after the roll cracking a joke.

He's all good, no hospital, no death on the way.

Bunch a drama queens  :)

ah for the sake of turning around anchoring to the said "small" tree and then using the winch. it would of taken 10 minutes to reset and then a simple straight forward winching exercise, be it a single string or double.
