Removal of stablisier disconnector?

Post by MrBeef »

Hey,

My stabi disconnect is quite flogged out on the ball joint where it connects the bar itself. Am wondering if anyone has removed the whole system before and just used standard linkage (or adjustables for lift kits) obviously there'll be issues regarding mounting the replacement linkage.

Or am I just pissing in the wind better off to get replacement unit? I'd just leave the sway bar off all the time but for warrants and all that jazz, leaving it on and having poked ball joints theyll prob pick up on that

Cheers

easy peasy to change. hardest part is pulling all the disconnect stuff out. just get some correct length links(to suit whatever lift you have) and put them in.

Oh yes? And the bracket the disconnector sits on is suitable for linkages to mount to??
