Goose's Lux

Post by Goose »

Well, the lux project has started. It's a LN60 surf with a 2LT replacing the rather sad 2L.

That part has been done, cheers Nibby and H2O, next is the lift kit....

I will get photo's, I keep forgetting the camera.

But I need some help. I need a name for the project. I was thinking "Muppet" or "Fozzie Bear"........

Ideas welcome......

Oh this should be good

Oh, here's a "before" pic.

Here's some base info....

Siezed 2L,(now replaced), hand painted cammo..... It has 3 bullet holes in the drivers door, thanks to the last owners reaction to the motor siezing...

It came with a TJM bullbar,(sold it) CB, newish shocks all round, snorkel, breathers, and structually pretty sound, some very minor rust here and there....

Sorry mate, I wasn't trying to take the piss or make a mockery of your project. I just got my facts wrong about the old "Ugly Duckling" story where it was persecuted for being an ugly duck and different only to grow up and emerge as a beautiful (Goose)... but it was a swan.

So I thought that it would be a great project name for you based on your username and the fact that it would emerge as something cool once it's finished, but I just made myself look like a right prat instead!

haha, nah, you didn't look like a prat!!! I was especting to get all sorts of sh*t from everyone, considering how much I give out!!!
The fact that your link was the actual fable was even funnier because I was expecting a joke!!!!!

And now that you mention it, it's not a bad name really...... the only problem being I dont know if she'll ever look beautiful!!!!!

Check out the photo, she's definatly ugly at the mo!!

All Toyota's are beautiful Goose 8)

And, if I might again borrow from Monty ... Mark, ...
[On the run from Roman soldiers, Brain lands on a public stage prophets. Brian quickly decides to disguise himself as one]

Brian: [Unsure and stuttering] Don't... pass judgement... on other people, or you might be judged yourself.

Passer-by
: [as if shocked] What?

Brian: I said, dont pass judgement on others or you might be judged yourself.

Passer-by: [in small, squeaky voice] Who me? Oh, Thank you very much!

Think you have it bad Goose, look what you get when you type Nibb.

The ancient sport of gay Knights, whilst wearing only their cast iron helmets, the "Knights of the Brown Circle" would canter towards each other, "Nibb's" (Penis) out and joust against another using thier Nibbs instead of Lances. The losing jouster would salute his victor by parading his arse cheeks ready for invasion.

In more recent times this game has been played by "Gay Knight" wannabees, usually to the music of "Black Beauty"

Fark man, what a crack up :P :P :P

And the best one is, Look what you get when you put in Rok

a word used to describe oneself, one another, one thing in superiority... or sex

damn i rok'd that party tonight.

lol, niblik the "jousting gay knight"

It doesnt get any better when you type in his last name either

refers to a man whose sexual orientation is unknown. Most likely derives from ' man-thing ', slang for a transvestite.

Anyway.......................

We've pretty much got the thing ready to start, just need to sort the exhaust. But we do seem to have about 7 wires left over from the 2lt loom. All we did is hooked up what wires were the same, so the leftovers dont have anywhere to go......

It turns over, and seems to glow, but I haven't tried to start it, I want to wait for the exhaust... does anyone have a 2LT wiring diagram??? I'd like to know what they are, I'm assuming some will be to do with the turbo lights on the dash etc, but I'd like to be sure :)

Oh yeah, towed it home from H2O's, tows like a dream on the custom fabricated A-frame, cheers H2O

Ahhhh, the 2LT all snugged up in bed.....

If your truck was as "STANDARD" as the bRIKS, it would probably make it too another level.
