Hi all,
Truck is going for cert check tomorrow. Was listing mods for him and he said he wasn't sure if the transfercase mounted hand brake was certifiable but he would have a bit of a look into it.
Have had others on here say they are sweet and have seen others have them certed. Can anyone point me to the right area of the regs?
Cheers,
Pete

Re: Transfer case handbrake legality
Imho
It would come down to the the mounting of the backing plate onto the output housing
The LCs and Safs it was designed as part of the housing so it shouldn't be any problem
If you have designed a mount yourself then it will be between you and the cert chap
