Bridgestone Vs BF Goodrich for a Hilux

Post by mchl »

I have a hilux sr5 and am after some advice on tyres. I drive on the highway a lot so they need to be comfortable at speed, but need to handle a bit of off roading in the weekend - mainly forestry trails (which can get pretty slippery..) and beach driving.

Ive been recommended BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A but have been offered some Bridgestone Dueller All Terrain in 265/65/17. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

I would really like M/Ts but just think they will be too loud on the highway.

Ive recently done a load of homework on theese tryes and many others to put on my challenger. I settled on dueler mt. The new patern is pretty good and ment to be a bit quieter. Im putting them on on thursday so ill let you know how noisy they are. Im running firestone wildernes ats atm. So its going to be interesting to hear and feel the difference.

Well those new brigestone mts are awesome. So far there is nothing bad. They feel good on the road And are not that noisy. Definitely louder than ats. But not too bad at all. Just a drone. Cant wait to get them off the road but unfortunately ill have too. Water pump shit itself today on the way in to the tyre shop. There goes another day and 400 bucks. #### my life.
