Sandy zook

Post by cbfb »

This is probably gonna be real easy and quiet boring to most of you, but I hope there will be guys like me too on here who have their first truck and enjoyed it for the first year or two and done the work on it, but now it's starting to show a few problems. Mainly cause I drive it on the beach - everywhere is full of sand, EVERYWHERE

I decided it was time to take advantage of 3 months' off road tax free and do a bit of work. Had it on my mind for a while then the rad which was dodgy for ages blew its top:

Anyway this is the truck. Some worrying stuff underneath it just trying to get the crusted in shit out. Amazing how well you think you clean them!

Those tyres are going, got some road ones to go on. I use sumitomos for offroad.

Thanks, I can't take credit for the barwork that was done before I bought the truck, for my first one I wanted something mostly setup already.

I have been generally happy with it though, just need to stop the rot

Cleaning the sand from under them? Almost impossible lol.

What products have you decided on to coat everything to stop rust? Been looking into this myself
