Not sure really depends on river conditions mate. havint done to much up there so open to options... if you know any good spots just need to get out of the city and wet the line.

I am eyeing up lake sumner or lake coleridge at this stage but ild say ill be heading in over night to make the most of it

i spin fish (still learning how LOL) only been fishing couple years now still plenty to learn lol

I would be interested, iv fresh water fishes most my life, only last year aquired a new fly rod (one the old man never used) and have never had the opportunity to go with someone who knows what they are doing to learn to use it, when you say high country i presume you would mean fly fishing?

you can do both up in the high country fly & spin. Just heard rivers still a little dirty up there at moment
