The r/h steering arm has definately been cut , if I took a better photo you could see the casting thicken up just before the cut . So hilux or 70 series , hmm ? I thought 40 and 70 were the same width , off to google ....
Just because the pitman arm faces backwards is no reason to id it . I once used a creseda box in my zuk , just took the forward facing arm off and put it on facing backwards , however seems most likely it is a surf box so will check the spline count tomorrow .
Last night was the first time I have had a good look at the set up and noticed the drag link attachment in the tierod joint had been welded in

, so looked around and noticed the same tophat piece on the end of the pitman arm . Just want to fix up the arms and use standard joints . Every one tried so far has been wrong in some way .
Currently think its hilux arms and tie rod but how would that compare to a 40 or 70 series diff width wise as it looks standard length (given someone has welded something to a joint on one end) .
