TD27 Turbo Neck

Post by prawln »

Hey guys,

Brought a turbo off trade me for my mistral td27 but i think its off the Terrano 2 as the turbo has the unboltable "neck". Sorry if it isnt called that and correct me if im wrong!

Does anyone have something that will bolt upto this?

thanks guys

Terrano II is IS the mistral. Is your Mistral intercooled?

ok cool, then you should already have what you need, just unbolt your existing turbo outlet and bolt on to the new turbo

no worries :D I bought one of these to intercool my terrano, there a solid bit of kit, and cheaper than getting it custom made

ahh, is there much difference in performance? The one my Mistral came with is the Garrett branded turbo

the earlier TD27 had a TB2580 from memory don't quote me on that

my TD27eti has a TD04L with a 4 bolt flange same as it's big brother the QD32eti

the difference in power is quite noticable however that is down to the computer controlled injection system and intercooler more then the turbo as they all seem to run around 10-12 psi.
