89661- 60250 ECU wanted / 93 KZJ70 1 KZTE

Post by KZJ70 »

My injector pumps solenoid, i think? isn't working and i'm thinking it's the ECU not opening and closing the spill valve. After a space ECU anyway so i'm going to try swop it out and see if it fixes the problem.

If you have one you're looking to flick or know of a seller?

89661- 60250 & 175800-1924 12V are the numbers i have

Cant find one on trade me unless I'm not looking in the right place of course

Help

You can put a meter across the valve & see ifs it good or not

Should be between 1&2 ohms at 20 degrees celcius...if not its shagged.

Anything Electronic in Nelson can test and repair ECU's . Price is pretty good.

You can take the cover off & look for any leaking capacitors ...but not always easy to see if ya don't know what ya looking at...easiest way is to borrow someone elses to try.

So problem solved. Yip it was the ECU. $150 and Jack in AKL did a full restore by replacing all the caps, a resisitor and a tiny bit of corroded track. 3 day turn around. His current Listing #: 677165651 on Trade Me. His number is 021 0230 5420. Super friendly and informative.

A huge thank you to Jerry for the ECU loan to make sure that was the problem. Thanks mate! :D
