Wanted: series 2 driveshafts

Post by andy3542 »

Need to make long slip driveshafts.

So I'm after a pair of series driveshafts on fussed about uj's or the driveshaft itself as long as the splines are good.

Cheers

I have 2 sets. Both SWB SIIA

This set is mint-o-rama

This set has more worn ujs and a bit of side movement on the front slip joint but no spline damage

If you can wait until xmas/new years I can probably bring a set up to aucks for you. Box of green bottles should probably do it

Cheers for that, junior

I greased them up and the UJs are actually better than I thought, so Best to keep the spare set for future possible Nissan axle swap. As for the other set, well they're just in too good condition to chop up.

Good thinking!

If they are good then keep them. I'd rather get a pair that someone was going to scrap then chop up useable pair.

Interesting. If the current plan doesn't work out then ill look at disco ones.

Got a pair off kbushnz's neighbour so were making progress.
