winch advice!

Post by skidmark »

looking at buying a winch soon to go on the front of my surf, maybe a bit early but will require one soon for barwork etc

so looking for feedback/advice..looking at runva between the two models

http://www.winch.co.nz/categories/4x4-c ... on-winches

http://www.winch.co.nz/categories/runva ... 2v-dyneema

probably going to be primarily just a club truck so any advice on which way I should go?or anyother winch suggestions.

Cheers Alistair

The main advantage of the evo is the fully sealed solenoids ,
What are you planning on using the winch for what vehicle , comp or casual ?
We are Taranaki Agents for runva !!

The 9500 evo is the goods , High speed etc and your truck isnt that heavy ,
If you were planning on having shit loads of camping gear or fitting it to an 80 series i would go to the 120. 1 13500lb unit that costs no more but is just slower ,
