I'll be there. River still low and clean, was fishing it yesterday morning. Ashley catchment is reasonable local, and we've had buggar all rain in that area.
was good to meet you guys n gals from down here .. was the first time out in this area and also the first real trip in rivers ..
didn't get back to hanmer until the wee hours of the morning with some strange whining coming from under the truck somewhere .. turned out to be the rear diff bearing and still to be replaced .. will get that done asap and hopefully get out again .
now i know i seen some people taking pictures etc has anyone posted them up anywhere ?
ps.... seems a bit odd that the wellingtonian was the one everyone was asking for directions to get back lol
Good on ya for bringing it back from the dead Yeti. These were fun trips and am keen to come out as well. One issue... I need to be a passenger, as truck still up on axle stands! We may need to take a chainsaw and clear the track, coz obviously driving up the river bed is a no go whilst the rare birds are nesting.
