Re: repower
ok lets get serous..
first how much have you got to spend? what ever you think you have x3 at lest
2 how much skills and tools do you or very good mates /family have ? are they willing to work for beers/free
3 what exactly do you want out of your truck? winch challange to weekend warrior or Auckland hairdresser run-a-bout
All this depends on what you want for a suitable motor.
I used to do this for a living and only about 1 customer in 10 would have have any idea in whats involved with a good preperation starts with motor then gearbox then diffs then suspension then brakes then tires then... then... the list goes on

Re: repower
Im thinking 3k or4k toyota or 1200 datto nothing to serious but just a little more ompfff than the little 1l thats in her now. And no shortage on the experiance front just looking for a motor.
3k seems to be a popular conversion

Re: repower
Why? Suzuki G13 will be lighter, still Suzuki
and it would be easier to swap in. Just need a motor, gearbox and the chassis mounts. Then if you decide you want more you can swap to a G16.
