I had an issue with my mistral fluctuating revs in top gear by around 200rpm ( whil travelling 100kph)
I have since adjusted the electronic component on top of the geared fuel pump by rotating it ant-clock wise by approx 3mm and the problem has gone. does anyone know the full fucntion of this electronic controller and how much it can be moved etc
thanks

Re: TD27 Fuel pump question
It is a throttle position sensor for the egr ecu and the auto trans. On a manual it is not crucial but on an auto it needs to be adjusted correctly as it affects shift points and kick down as well as torque converter lock up.
Re: TD27 Fuel pump question
Thanks - looks like the orriginal issue was Torque converter lock up a bit out in top gear, any points on the ecact correct position?

Re: TD27 Fuel pump question
It will be a specific voltage out put at idle position. You will have to find out from a service manual what it is.
