My engine (2LT-E) is smoking, using oil and now gets hot if you even say the word 'hill' so it is time to look at a repower.
Just wanting to know what's available before I look into buying a new motor as $$$ are a bit tight at present.
Will be swapping over turbo etc. so happy to look at bare engines.

Will be pulling the 3L out of my hilux in the next couple of weeks. Turboed it almost a year ago but can sell without the turbo setup if you already have one. Never had any problems with it apart from starter and alternator which have been replaced. Guy I brought the truck off said it had been rebuilt but had no receipts so I pulled the head off when I turboed it and the bores were in really good condition. Looking for $2500 without turbo.

Haha once again Ive got an engine here, Its a good 2.8 3L

i have a 3L 2.8 missing fuel pump,alternator,oil cooler, intake manifold $1500 in west auks if interested

Cheers but at present either a 5LE or a recon 2LTE will be finding its way under the bonnet
