hi all just after some tips on waterproofing the electrics on a 3.8 commy. Anything I need to pay particular to?, will silicone the leads and have a snorkel.
Also anyone know how the cas will handle a bit of water?

The CAS will be fine in water. The biggest worry would be the coil pack and DFI module that it screws onto. The module is sealed but water between the two could cause issues with the connections on the coil pack.
Maybe separate them and and put some sealer between the two, you wont need much just around the edge and the screws.
The other thing I would do is pull all the electrical plugs off and put some Dielectric grease or similar in them then plug them back together, this should help keep moisture out.

use silicon grease rather than silicon.
