at the point of welding on spring mounts now.
Mate comes round an he's eyeballing my spares as you do,
we start talking rock crawlers dual transfer cases and ultra low gears,
Now I've never really seen a dual transfer case set up so start questioning him on why they run that.
Simple right lower ratios.
I still can't see the point so I move my divorced transfer case 4 spd infront of my married case 4 speed on the floor an ask the mate why we cant just build a coupler and have one case 2 boxes and 32 ratios one clutch.
he likes it I like it and now I'm looking for a good 109 chassis to make it fit,
don't get me wrong it irks me to biff this pirou chassis I've been glueing back together but I would rather build it once.

Madness! I love it! reminds me of a transport companys winch when I was a kid, two or three landrover series boxes in a row, massive reduction driving a big capstan to pull out stuck dozers and trucks

thanks to Martin (nakimud) and Hamish? this project is back on line,
have just dropped a very tidy 2a chassis, truck cab and firewall off in the driveway.
driveline is ready to go on the trailer to have the inlaws at BLM Engineering couple my two mq boxes together.
12 volt tipper chassis for the flat deck will be sat on tomorrow and
mq diffs sized up for width.
