No real update...

have had it out a few times since fitting the new tahs, runs like a dream.

Got sick of the diff seals leaking so had a mate redo all the seals and king pin bearings, drives like a dream now

Hangin out for some rain, but using the time to catch up on maintenance and repairs/mods.

Well, I suppose I should give an update...

Ive been out wheeling it a fair bit (never as much as wanted).

Damage List:

Wing Mirror
Hubs x 2
Glow Plug Relay
Gearbox
Alternator
Batteries x 2

Shes taken a fair beating but just wants to keep running.

Have added some fancy switches:

Oh and one of these appeared in the engine bay

What a huge difference, am yet to give it a tune and finish the exhaust.

Am attempting to fit the PTO winch setup I bought before the weekend rolls around so fingers crossed I can tick that off the list also, the it'll be off to CP Racing to get some bar work done hopefully

can fit a resistor inline with the illumination(think narva even sell them.maybe might be one of the other guys) to allow them to be used on 24v or use the led ones with a stickersheet http://www.narva.com.au/products/browse/led

These are 24v switches which come blank and you buy the sticker sheet separate with about 50 different designs and logos.

The difference between the switches are the illumination bulbs... 12v = Bulb, 24v = LED.

Good switches I'll definately be buying more.

Cheers

I think it was about $20+ for the switch and $6+ for the sticker pack.

Huge thanks to Andy for the help in the weekend we got a fair bit done.

So I got a new 4" Grinder and needed to test it out on something... I turned it on and it was so powerful it just sucked my truck into it

and this happened:

Then the rain came down, we were determined not to stop to made a shelter

I take my hat off to all your sheet metal workers, panel steel is a pain in the ass to weld... The smallest I know how to weld is 6mm  this was my first time doing any panel work...

Suppose Im due for an update...

Have been slowly chipping away at it when time allows.

Figured out that the reg was stuffed on the welder so went and grabbed a new one and grabbed a bottle of Argoshield Light too see if it would make a difference... I am very impressed with it, welder is now much more enjoyable to use on the panel steel

Decided to take a break from welding for a day and made up the rear panel

Thanks mate, Yeah it was sort of one of the plans I had in mind for it.

I kept smacking the rear quarters in all the time, and I want to have a go at Winch challenge this year (fingers crossed) so I figured it was easier to chop it now and build the cage to suit rather than cage the full body then have to redo it later on...
