Started a bit early. Pulled the front diff out of my Pighorn to get ready to fit an auto locker.

Found a torn tie rod boot and both ball joints on the drag link are rooted so a bit of additional work required.

4wd side: Waiting for a reply about front and rear air lockers, meant to be coming next week

In other news, have half built picnic table including drink holding rail so now having a beer contemplating when I'm going to finish the interior of my truck

Just got inside from yet another night working on the truck, I think ive still got a missus   there was hot food on the bench when I came in

Havn't really achieved a whole lot just bogging and sanding then a quick layer of spray paint so I can see the imperfections...

Happy to help where I can, but in all honestly I still dont really have a clue what im doing

Make sure you cut out the rust rather than covering it up with gunk.

I cut the plate a little oversize and put it underneath so that it was overlapped to make the welding easier, take your time, find plenty of patience and just give it a crack... Oh and invest in a couple of Polifan flap discs they are awesome.

Convincing the missus to let me organise and run another competition with Caleb (Filthy4x4) has to be an achievement even though it happened late in the week.

Trucks looking good too bro. Nice to know iv got someone to come to for rust repairs or safari chops.

changed the diff oil. now running 85-140 which has quietened up the locker a bit.

Swapped my 15x8s for some 15x10s and went to a mates workshop and got the Safa on the hoist haha those truck hoists are pretty sweet how they go under each wheel.

Did some tints its on he back windows 5% did the trick just need to do the fronts at 35%.

A few weeks back fitted the sliders off Curlys old truck onto mine.

Now going to steel and tube today to price up some pipe to finish the front off and tube to extent my trailing arms and panhards.

Did more testing on the disco and distributor assembly needs to be replaced.
