FS: GQ - 4" Long travel Shocks and 50mm spacers (WGTN)

Hi All,

These came on a Safari I bought about 9 months ago, they are long travel shocks and 50mm spacers. I don't think they have been used very much at all. I took out the spacers so my wife could get into the Safari without jumping Which meant that the shocks were then too long so I fitted shorter ones.

They are much bigger diameter and heavy duty than some KYB's I tried, they also have polyurethane bushes.

I was planning on keeping them to raise it up again later but I'm working through an expensive Certification now so decided to sell them instead.

Measurements of Front Shocks:
Extended = 575mm
Compressed = 350mm
(measured from base mount of each pin not including bushes, so add another 30mm or so)

Measurements of Rear Shocks (centre eye to centre eye):
Extended = 720mm
Compressed = 510mm

PRICE:
$350 for the lot (shocks and spacers).

The spacers alone are $170 new.

Match up ok to your Dobinson coils?

Superior sell them in auzy paired with the dobis so would be a good combo with the springs ,
I have a customer with an 80 series that runs them and they have not caused any issues , Quite a soft ride but good offroad , His ones would be 3 years old at least with no signs of leaking etc ,

Can sell spacers separate but don't really want to separate shocks. Cheers

Any suspension guys out there that can advise if these shocks would work with a 3" spring lift?

Quite a few shocks are sold with a range of lift as opposed to just 4".

I don't really want to go go a 4" lift.

Best thing to do is take your shocks out (or undo bottom mount) measure at full flex to see if the coil will remain captive with the extra length of these. Need to remember that compressed length is important too, you don't want to bottom shocks because bumpstops are too short. Better get in quick, I'm trying to juggle my $$ so I can still get them
