just took one of my workmates truck for a spin this afternoon, he has a mint 87 double cab ex 2.4 diesel. He's put a 3litre turbo/auto/trans ex a surf in it , geez bloody go.......A credit to him really under the hood it looks real nice too, and inside ,looks pretty much like a factory good! if only they put decent motors in them earlier on......

sorry none at the moment, just looks std, apart from 50mm cab/deck lift , he had to do to get motor to fit ,and intercooler, will try next week, has surf transmission well, cut and welded in ,so gear stick console etc out of surf fits neatly, dash is original ,worked out how to drive speedo and tacho , looking in engine bay its hard to tell at a quick glance its non factory. Has left the 2.4 diesel sticker on.......gives him a bit of a grin at the moment when he leaves suckers dead at the lights, who think its a shitty old 2.4

. He had a few dramas with working out the wiring, but is sorted now.
