Few Questions

Post by 92 safari 17 »

Hey all,
brought a safari ute couple weeks ago pretty much unseen, found a lot more rust than what was said parts of the chassis has surface rust with one fucked body mount on the chassis, bodies got some rust but thats something i can work with, question is do I put another chassis under it or try repair the one thats there now?

also want to see how others have done a 3inch exhaust with a rear mount pto winch as mine runs down the outside of the chassis which means one of the body mounts has been cut to fit it.

heres one of the fucked body mounts they are worn out to the point you can pull the mount right through the steel mount any ideas on how to repair them ?

and heres where my exhaust runs now

Im seriously thinking about changing all my lift and complete diffs ect back into my lwb wagon and selling the ute on since i know the chassis is good in the wagon and theres less rust as well.

heres my wagon before i took everything out of it

and heres the ute i put everything into

if i was to swap back the ute would come on 33s, td42 na, manual with 4 inch lift and be certed ive got a figure in my mine what id want for it but what do you think its worth would make a beast of a bush truck tho!
