I think I have a spare wheel carrier for you , and yell out when you want to copy the front bumper / soft top stuff.
Who did the windscreen glass for you ?

Thanks! - Spare wheel carrier would be awesome
As always back in the day I was given a full LJ80 Softtop in mint condition....I gave it away for free as I thought I'd never need it!
I do have the factory front bumper though I think I'll make up some light front tube bar - Not thought about that bit so far.
The front windscreen is the factory one which came with the rotted out windscreen frame. I just gave it a good clean up and cleaned up the windscreen rubber too. I refitted it.. All that measuring before I chopped the frame up paid off as it fitted perfect

Will buy some lap belts out of the rear of some car or van if you have no joy.
Cheers

Re: LJ80 Project
So after a bit more work including fitting the original bumper, pulling out the engine to fix the slipping clutch and grabbing a couple of lap belts from pick a part I finally managed to get one of these...

Very happy about that!
Still got a few other bits to do yet like a bikini top and make a light weight bullbar for it but at least I can drive it now.
Another LJ back on the road again

Went for a 40k drive yesterday - It seems LJ's are in a league of there own when comes to being slow. Getting upto speed is ok but the motor seems happiest at 60 - 70kph. I cant really expect a 1980 Zuk to perform like a modern car though. I did have an issue where the little bugger got hot and I had to pull over to let it cool. Has a new thermostat, radiators been flushed... May have been an airlock?
The radiator does sit quite away forward of the fan and shroud so if it gets hot again I may just space the radiator a bit closer to the fan.
Anyway check out the wicked flex....
