Later model G52 is push button 4WD, I have one on my garage floor. That's what the pic in the other link is.

if its 2lte surf its highly likely R151f.
they also had R150 but i think that may be the non-efi models.

Definitely an r15x box.
The diesel surfs in the ln130 onwards all had the strong box. The v6 petrol had the strong box with different ratios. The 3y had the w56.

whats the difference internally? can i pull the tail extension off and count splines of anything?
