Hi ive got a sj410 lwb with lux diffs underneath im trying to find a good engine to put in
Now ive been thinking off putting a fwd 3sgte eninge mounted to a w56 surf box would they mate together any help would be good thanks

Would be worth looking at a 3S-GE Altezza bell housing and see if it can be modified to suit W box. I have no idea of it could work, but its worth a shot.

bellhousings can be made chap, steel surgeon in ak is a good option,
otherwise a 2.7 petrol surf or hilux setup would be desirable,
less bullshit than a 3s and likely more usable power

The toyota motors seem to be going out of fashion now the newer suzuki engines can be had cheap and far less work to fit. Beams dual vvt 3sge with the altezza 6spd would certainly be fun tho petrol Turbo tends to have the power too high up for a mud truck tho. If you want something revvy for fun what about a swift gti 1300, will fit straight to a sj413 gearbox. Ive got a vitara g16a sitting on the floor waiting to go in mine
